Thank you for shopping with us and supporting our work. We take pride in offering handmade, ethically sourced items from our partners in India, and we want you to be happy with your purchase.

If something isn’t quite right, we’ll do our best to put it right.

Returns

You may return most items within 14 calendar days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in the same condition you received them.

  • Wherever possible, items should be returned in their original packaging.

  • Please include your order confirmation or receipt.

Before returning an item, please email us at info@actionvillageindia.org.uk with your order number and reason for return.

Items that cannot be returned

Because many of our products are handmade or one-of-a-kind, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons)

  • Digital downloads or gift cards

If the item is faulty or damaged, this exclusion does not apply.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you by email. If approved, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method.
Please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges due to limited stock of handmade items. If you'd like a different item, please return your original purchase for a refund and place a new order.

Shipping costs

  • If the item is faulty or we sent the wrong item, we’ll cover return postage.

  • Otherwise, return postage is the buyer’s responsibility.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.
