Our jute placemats are handcrafted by skilled artisan communities using sustainably sourced jute – the “golden fibre”, known for its strength, durability and eco-friendly properties. Naturally biodegradable, each placemat is woven using traditional techniques that celebrate craftsmanship and support sustainable livelihoods. Their earthy texture and natural tones make a beautiful foundation for everyday meals and special occasions alike.

The handmade table runner is crafted by Sura, a collective of mothers from rural Cuddalore, South India. Motivated by the rising cost of education, the women use their craft to generate additional income and help support their children’s schooling.

Together, the natural jute placemats and colourful table runner create a distinctive table setting that celebrates traditional craftsmanship while supporting artisan communities in India.
